The bus will depart from DeMatha promptly at 6:30am. It is, approximately, a 45-minute drive to The Landon School in Bethesda, Md.

Our Varsity A team at Landon will consist of Thomas, Dawson, James H, Langston, Hayward, Jaiden, Steven, Tariq, and Ashby.
Our Varsity B team will consist of Manuel, Gavin, Julius H, Keme, Lucas, Dominic, Julius G, London, and Lance.
I have entered everyone else in Varsity C.
In particular, if your name is on the Varsity A or Varsity B lists, I need to know by Tuesday if you will not be able to make it to the meet. After Tuesday, I will not be able to bump someone from the B race up to A or from the C race up to B. I'll also assess any nagging injuries early in the week and if anything concerns me where I may have to make a late-week or race-time decision on someone's status, I may make an adjustment to the lineups.

Athletes:
Wear your racing uniforms
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPRESSION GEAR WORN UNDER THE UNIFORM: Compression shorts, if worn, MUST be the same BLUE as our school color (ROYAL BLUE) and stop above the knee. Compression shirts may be short or long sleeve (though I recommend no compression shirts unless the weather is exceptionally cold) but MUST be WHITE . If a logo is visible on either piece of apparel, it must be Under Armour.
Wear your team gear (if you did not order any or if yours has not arrived yet, you must wear Under Armour clothing to warm up in; do not show up in just your uniform).
Wear your training shoes. No flip-flops until after you've cooled down.
Pack your racing spikes. These should not be your primary shoes for the course walk and warmup/cooldown; these are only to be worn during the race.
Everyone must pitch in during set-up and/or take-down in regards to the tent, tarp, etc.
Additional Important Details
The distance for this course is 5 kilometers, roughly 160 meters longer than the two 3 mile races we opened the season with.
Parents and relatives are encouraged to attend. However, please plan for your son to remain with the team until we leave at approximately 1:30pm. We are a team and unless there are extenuating circumstances requiring you leave early, our varsity athletes should be supporting the JV athletes who run after them, just as the JV athletes support our varsity athletes who run first.
Parents will receive an email from SignupGenius to volunteer to bring food and drinks for the boys. These items should be dropped off at the school with your son on Saturday morning.
Athletes will be told to call/text their ride when we leave Bethesda
. I will also send an alert via Remind when we leave.
The forecast calls for rain the night before and overcast but dry conditions for Saturday morning! Keep an eye on the forecast as we draw nearer to the meet so you can be prepared.
